Pregnant Cardi B tries rhythmic gymnastics for culture

”After I have a baby, I might try to get into art, because right now I can’t even cross my legs or anything.”
You can expect to see plenty of spins, spirals, and ribbons in Cardi B’s latest creation! The expectant mother took to the mat to test out her skills in rhythmic gymnastics, training alongside one of the best gymnasts in the sport. And it turns out that she may just be natural!
In the latest installment of rapper Cardi Tries’ series on Facebook Messenger and Instagram, Cardi goes to the gym with singer and actress Amanda Seales and meets rhythmic gymnast Nastasya Lolova (Nastasya Generalova), who trains together. The 28-year-old rapper, who is reportedly due to give birth to her second child in September, wants to try gymnastics after she and Offset’s three-year-old daughter Kulture expressed an interest in the sport. Both women also said that they, like most of us, watched the Olympic gymnastics games in Tokyo.
“I think it would be a good sport for my daughter,” Cardi told Sears, who said she is also a gymnast.
”I’m not a flexible person,” Cardi added, “but I’m going to make sure my daughter does the best I can.”
Kulture recently celebrated her third birthday with a fairy princess party hosted by her mom and dad. “Now that she’s three, I take her to gymnastics class,” Cardi shared with Sears. “I just want her to be very flexible, because flexibility always helps you with everything.”
In the video, Cardi demonstrated several spins and spirals with the ribbon, impressing Genarlova, who is also on the USA rhythmic gymnastics team.
After practice, Cady and Sears changed into sparkly gymnastics leotards and performed a routine together using the skills they learned from Gnarlova. Even though they’re doing well, the “Up” rapper has a few words to sum up her gymnastics career. “Maybe next time I’ll try rhythmic [gymnastics],” she concluded. “No, no, after I have a baby, I might try to do art, because right now I can’t even cross my legs, nothing.”
The superstar rapper is the host and executive producer of Cardi Tries, where she tackles various challenges while “bringing her positivity and unique style.” You can watch this episode of Rhythmic Gymnastics, the first of Season 2, on Facebook Watch.
